Advanced Machine Learning Enhances Typhoon™ Data at Tintic Project
At the Tintic Copper-Gold-Silver Project in Utah, Ivanhoe Electric is deploying CGI’s latest proprietary software to transform the interpretation of Typhoon™ geophysical data. Through continuous research and development, CGI has harnessed advanced machine learning algorithms to significantly improve data processing capacity and signal-to-noise ratios. This technological leap allows for the analysis of more data at higher speeds, delivering superior 3D inversion models with much faster turnaround times.
CGI’s updated software recently reprocessed 2019 survey data at Tintic, providing a refined 3D model that ratified existing targets and identified new anomalies. The new inversion revealed chargeable and conductive responses extending to the deepest levels of the historical Mammoth and Grand Central Mines. These insights are now guiding active exploration efforts, including diamond drilling in the Deep Mammoth area.
