Copper Road Resources Uncovers High-Priority Deep Targets at Ben Nevis Project
Congratulations to our client, Copper Road Resources Inc., on their highly encouraging 2026 exploration update for the Ben Nevis Volcanic Complex (BNVC) project in northeastern Ontario. By integrating historical datasets with modern airborne data, the program successfully identified 36 exploration targets, highlighted by seven high-priority, deep-seated conductors. These newly defined anomalies point to significant discovery potential for both base metals and gold-rich volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) systems.
A key driver of this exploratory breakthrough was the deployment of the advanced MobileMT airborne system, selected over conventional electromagnetic methods for its unique ability to provide deep-penetrating resistivity imaging to depths exceeding 1 kilometer. CGI’s collaborative expertise in advanced data processing and 3D inversion modeling helped deliver the crisp sub-surface resolution required to map out these high-conductivity frameworks. This deep-penetrating investigation effectively expands the search radius far beyond historical surface evaluation at the Canagau Shaft and Clifford Stock areas of interest.
