Cosa Resources Identifies High-Priority Uranium Targets at Ursa and Orion Projects

Press Release

Cosa Resources Corp. has announced breakthrough results from project-wide MobileMT surveys conducted at its 100% owned Ursa and Orion uranium projects in the Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan. The modern survey defined over 110 kilometres of basement conductive trends, revealing large, deeply rooted structures fundamental to the formation of high-grade uranium deposits. This comprehensive geophysical approach has effectively "upgraded" both projects, identifying 11 initial high-priority target areas that have never been tested by historical drilling.

To achieve these results, Cosa Resources engaged CGI and Convolutions Geoscience to perform an industry-leading, geologically constrained 3D inversion of the survey dataset. By producing a sophisticated 3D voxel model of conductivity, CGI helped translate complex geophysical data into a clear, actionable map of the subsurface. This modeling revealed that all 15 historical drill holes in the area were located in low-priority zones, allowing the Cosa exploration team to move past obsolete data and focus on high-potential hydrothermal alteration zones.

The success of this program demonstrates the immense value of applying modern 3-D conductivity models to underexplored regions of the Athabasca Basin. Cosa Resources is now planning follow-up ground geophysics to further refine these targets in preparation for a diamond drilling campaign in 2024.
