High-priority drill targets identified at the Black Hawk District
Texas Mineral Resources Corp. (TMRC) has announced highly encouraging results from the detailed analysis of Time Domain Electro-Magnetic (TDEM) surveying at the Black Hawk Silver Mining District in New Mexico. Inversion analysis of approximately 37% of the surveyed area revealed thirteen strong conductive anomalies, all located within 100 feet of the surface. These targets are situated in a district historically known for high-grade native silver and critical minerals like nickel and cobalt.
The survey utilized a specialized NANOTEM process to locate small, electrically conductive bodies at shallow depths. Two scoping level geophysical studies were conducted in late 2021 and early 2022 under the guidance of Thomas Weis, consulting geophysicist, CGI. and Zonge International. By applying sophisticated inversion techniques, CGI helped transform raw field data into a focused subsurface map, allowing TMRC to plan a more efficient and cost-effective drilling program.
TMRC is currently in late-stage negotiations to fund a bankable feasibility study and expects to commence drilling in the spring of 2023. We congratulate the team at Texas Mineral Resources on these exceptional results and look forward to seeing the results of the upcoming drill campaign as they continue to develop this promising domestic resource.
