Priority Targets Identified at Marshall Uranium Project: A Major Leap for Athabasca Exploration

Basin Energy Limited (ASX:BSN) has announced the identification of several high-priority exploration targets at its Marshall Project in the southeastern Athabasca Basin. This significant milestone was achieved following a comprehensive assessment of historical geophysical datasets. The project area is strategically positioned near major uranium hubs, including Cameco’s Millennium Deposit.

To unlock the potential of this underexplored tenure, Basin Energy engaged the expertise of CGI to conduct advanced 3D inversion and processing of legacy data. By applying CGI’s sophisticated modeling techniques to ZTEM and Transient Electromagnetic surveys, the team successfully mapped conductive anomalies above and below the Athabasca unconformity.

The results provided by CGI suggest deep-rooted folding and potential alteration zones within the sandstone, which may indicate the presence of mineralizing fluids. These insights provide Basin Energy with a clear, data-driven roadmap for its next round of exploration drilling in one of the world's premier uranium jurisdictions.
