IsoEnergy Achieves Major Success at Larocque East with Advanced Inversion Modeling
IsoEnergy Ltd. has announced breakthrough results from its winter drilling program at the Larocque East Project in the Athabasca Basin. Drilling confirmed the eastward extension of the high-grade Hurricane Deposit, with multiple holes intersecting significant radioactivity. Notably, step-out drilling at Target Area D, located 2.8 km east of the main deposit, returned the best regional results to date, including a peak interval of 6,200 cps in hole LE25-202. These findings underscore the immense potential for new uranium discoveries along the Larocque Trend.
The success of this campaign was driven by innovative subsurface mapping. CGI provided a sophisticated 3D joint inversion of electromagnetic and resistivity data. This advanced model allowed the team to identify underexplored conductive targets, including a massive 2,500 m northern conductivity trend that remains a high priority for future testing.
CGI is honored to support IsoEnergy Ltd. through expert survey design and data processing. We continue to provide our clients with the clarity needed to de-risk complex exploration targets. We look forward to seeing these models further guide the upcoming summer drilling program.
